Reinforcement of identification for Korea domestic flights (Effective from Jan 28, 2022) Hits 88549
Due to the enforcement of the amendment to the Korean Aviation Security Act, boarding pass issuance and boarding for Korea domestic flights will be restricted if you do not have an original identification document from January 28, 2022.


Valid types of ID cards for Korea domestic flights

Identity card
- General passengers: passport, resident registration card, driver's license (including international driver's license), disability registration card, alien registration card, flight attendant registration card, domestic residence report card, seaman's handbook, national technical certificate, discharge certificate, public official ID card, cadet ID card, national merit card, national merit family card, national veterans registration certificate, certificate of driver's licence, resident registration issuance application confirmation, U.S. military member ID certificate
- Under the age of 19: Copy of resident registration or abstract, family relationship certificate, health insurance card, student ID, Certificate of enrollment, youth ID
(DOB is mandatory on the document)

Biometric information (over 7 years old): Use of biometric information registered in advance at airports and financial institutions (banks)
- Currently, Nonghyup Bank is a financial institution linked to the Korea Airports Corporation biometric information authentication system, which will continue to expand in the future.

Digital devices (common): ID certificate provided by 'GOV.KR', mobile driver's license, mobile civil service card

Copies and photos that were previously accepted will not be accepted.
LIST
